I began this blog as a way to keep my creative side alive. I am a high school Art and English teacher of 10 years, and I have also taught English in Korea,which was a great experience. However at the moment I am a stay-at-home Mum, concentrating on bringing up my three small children. When everyone is fed, changed, asleep, and I have a moment to myself, I enjoy creating new artwork and learning/brushing up on different techniques. Mostly, I started this blog to have some fun.
I love working in a range of different materials, and trying new ones. Living in a small place with small children around it is difficult to get out the inks or the watercolours, so now I decided to get myself a drawing tablet, and I can do a lot of the same things on the computer, even more, in fact! When I am drawing with my tablet, it is usually with one hand, while feeding the baby with the other hehe. If I don't answer your comments or questions straight away, it is usually because I don't have two hands free to type...or maybe you will only get a very short answer, typed with one finger (um...that didn't really come out right...well, you know what I mean hehe)
I enjoy connecting with other arty people on the internet from all over the world, it is very inspiring, and I never run out of ideas. I hope you enjoy reading my blogged adventures in art! I always love to hear from my subscribers, so do drop me a line in the comments every now and again.
